Camp Epic is a comic series where characters from all different Epic! Originals multiverse come together during the summer at Camp Epic! for adventures and summertime fun!
I designed and art directed the book logo, cover, and interiors. I did all of the word balloons as well.
For this series, each book is illustrated by a different artist who have worked on other books with Epic! It was a fun challenge to work with many different artists on this series. Having a singular colorist helped keep the series cohesive.
Above is the original version of the logo. Originally, the team loved the idea of the logo really being a camp badge! However, because Epic! is a digital platform, we ended up going for a simplified look that would scale better. This stitched logo is done completely digitally!
